Meditation Mantra
A meditation mantra is a sound that is has a very beneficial effect on your body, mind and soul. Although it is often subconscious, every sound you hear has an effect on you.
Some sounds such as a tinkerling waterfall or babbling brook calm you, while a jack hammer or chainsaw make you tense and annoy you.
Using a meditation matra helps to calm the chatter of your mind, activating the feeling of harmony that the mantra infuses in you.
The mantra aligns itself with your own personal vibration as you repeat the particular sound or phrase. Ripples are set up that spread through your being, connecting you to your spiritual essence.
About ninety years ago Physicists were stunned to find out that the material world was not made up of 'building blocks' of physical matter, infact was formed by energy, the result of countless swinging atomic particles held together by a fundamental creative vibration.
This vibration keeps the pattern of interconnection between these energies, forming matter.
This was already known to all the ancient wisdoms in the East and West, who refer to this original energy as 'the audible life stream' and the 'voice of silence'. The sanskrit term 'OM' is the best known.
Sounds were used to heal people physically, spiritually or energetically in ancient traditions, because the sounds vibrate higher, and tap into a persons consciousness and align it with their higher selves, actually changing their consciousness.
