Guided Meditation Benefits

The guided meditation benefits to you are many , you get the same benefits as you would if you meditate without a guide. If you are learning to meditate, you may find it easier to listen to a voice.

Some people find it easier to have someone guiding them on a journey as it is very easy to imagine the scene that the guide is talking about, rather than trying to do it yourself.

It most likely depends on how good your imagination is. Try it for yourself and you will know if it is right for you. You will find guided meditation CD'S online or in a new age store. Ask to listen to them as you need to know if the guides voice is one that you resonate with.

You have to like the sound of the voice or you will never be able to do the meditation as the voice will distract you from doing the meditation if you don't like it.

Most people know straight away whether or not they will be able to listen to a particular voice or not. Usually if you like the voice as soon as you hear it, it is the voice that you resonate with.

However, if you are not sure about any of the voices you listen to, don't just settle for anyone, keep looking until you find the one you like.

As for the benefits you get from being guided through a meditation, they are such things as, healing mind, body, soul.

You can still set and achieve goals and you can still help others.

As stated earlier, benefits wise, they are no different than non guided meditations.

Infact the guided meditation benefits for people who have lost the ability to use their imagination are good, as they help you to imagine yourself in places or situations, such as being on an exotic island or in a tropical rainforest or being a big success at something that you would really love to be successful at or healthy if you are unwell.
