Easy Meditation Techniques

This pages has some easy meditation techniques, try them to find out if any of them are the right ones for you.

This page only has a few of the many different ways there are to meditate, if you find they are not suitable, don't give up, you might find it easier to come up with your own unique technique, just remember, there is no right or wrong way, only your way.

You might find it easier to record these techniques.

One of the easiest ways to help you relax is to get yourself in a comfortable position either sitting or laying down (be careful when laying that you don't go to sleep), then simply consentrate on your breath when you inhale and exhale, feel yourself relaxing with every breath you take.

This technique is very good for relaxing your body before you start your meditation.

sitting comfortably with your legs uncrossed and, possibly your arms by your sides so that your hands are not connecting.

Take a deep breath in, hold the breath for a few seconds then exhale as you do allow the tension to release along with the breath, take another deep breath, hold and let go, one more deep breath, hold and let go.

Imagine a halo of white light shining brightly above your head, now allow the halo to drop, touching the top of your head, relaxing the muscles in the top of your head.

The halo is now down to your eyes, feel all those tiny muscles relax.

The halo is now going down over your cheeks, relaxing them as it goes down to your jaw, feel your jaw relax and drop slightly to a more comfortable position.

The halo is now down around your neck, feel your neck relaxing as the halo passes over it, going down to your shoulders, feel your shoulders drop with the release, it feels so good to relax.

Feel the halo going down your arms, relaxing the upper back and chest as it passes over them, now feel your abdomen, middle and lower back relax as the halo passes over them.

Feel your hips and buttocks relax completely as the halo passes over them going down your legs and relaxing them as it goes down to your ankles and feet, the halo is now passing over your ankles, relaxing them as it goes to your feet.

The halo is now passing over your feet, feel them relax as the halo now passes completely away.

You are now relaxed and at peace, feeling safe and protected. This is the time for you to go to the place where you feel safe and at peace to heal yourself or any issues you need to deal with, stay in your special place for as long as you wish to.

Another easy meditation technique is to play some music that helps you to relax and let it take you on your journey.

This technique is a really wonderful way to help you relax especially if you have a lot on your mind. if you would like to learn how to concentrate better click here

These easy meditation techniques can help you to relieve pain, recharge and energise yourself.

Begin by relaxing your body, making yourself as comfortable as you can in any position you prefer.

Visualise yourself holding a rock or (anything that comes to mind) in your hands.

Now summon all your energy and channel your pain into the rock, see it crack then shatter into fine dust and watch it blow away in the wind.

Close your eyes and visualise a clear pool, imagine yourself taking off your clothes and getting into the pool, cover yourself with the refreshing water or bathe the affected area of your body.

Watch as the pain flows from your body into the water and fades away. Recharge and revitalise your body by seeing or feeling an orb of light above your head.

Draw the light into the top of your head and allow it to pass through your entire body and into the floor.

As you slowly open your eyes and return to the room your body feels light and energised.

These are just a few of the many easy meditation techniques that are out there for you to try, they can be used together if you wish to, find the method that works best for YOU. return from easy meditation techniques to learning to meditate
