Chakra Balancing Guided Meditation

Chakra balancing guided meditation will help you to heal your life and yourself, it is done by either going to a meditation group or by listening to CDs that are especially for this. You can also purchase CDs on line

It is very easy to learn as you are guided every step of the way. Chakras are the energy centres of your body, we all have them, keeping them balanced is an important part of being healthy and happy.

There are seven main ones, the first is located at the base of the spine and is known as the root/base chakra, it's colour is red, the second is located just below the naval and is know as the sacral/naval chakra, it's colour is orange.

The third is located below the chest it is the Solar Plexus, it's colour is yellow, the fourth is located at the heart and is the heart chakra, it's colour is green with a tinge of pink, the fifth is located at the throat, it is the throat chakra, it's colour is blue.

The sixth is located between the eyebrows and is called the third eye chakra, it's colour is indigo and the seventh is located at the top of your head and is called the crown chakra, it's colour is violet.

During a Chakra balancing meditation you will balance one chakra at a time, visualizing each chakra glowing in it's colour starting with red and moving up through the colours finishing with violet. Each chakra corresponds to certain parts of the body.

The base corresponds to the adrenals, kidneys, colon and rectum.

The naval corresponds to the reproductive organs.

The solar plexus corresponds to the pancreas, intestines, liver and spleen.

The heart corresponds to the heart, lungs, circulatory system and thymus gland.

The throat corresponds to thyroid/parathyroid glands, throat and mouth.

The third eye corresponds to the pituitary gland, brain (partial), eyes and ears.

The crown corresponds to pineal gland, and brain.

It makes sense that keeping your chakras balanced helps to keep your body and mind healthy. Experiment with different meditations to find the one that is right for you as all guides use different methods, they all have the same benefits it just that one method may suit you but won't suit someone else.

Or maybe you will find that none of them are for you and come up with an easy method that suits you, it doesn't matter as long as you are comfotable with what you are doing, just remember, there is no right or wrong way, do what makes you feel good.
